I joke that I loved college so much I decided to stay, so it is no surprise that I have been a student or worked on a college campus since I was 17. I am a proud first-generation college graduate with a bachelor's degree from UVA Wise and a master's degree from JMU. My partner and I met in college and now have two boys who love baseball. When we are not at a ballpark, you can find us at our favorite local restaurants or spending time with great friends.

As the Associate Director of Well Dukes, I have the opportunity to advance health promotion across JMU by building meaningful partnerships, connecting students with resources, and developing strategies that strengthen engagement, communications, and assessment efforts. While I enjoy this broader perspective, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is still coaching students. I love getting to know each student and helping them feel supported, empowered, and confident as they work toward their goals.
