Jeffrey Marc Rockland enjoys helping students expand, discover and excel. With former students currently dancing, teaching, choreographing and directing companies he cherishes the opportunity teaching offers to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

​As Soloist with Atlanta Ballet, Universal Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Rockland danced established repertoire of Balanchine, Bournonville, Feld, Fokine, Najinska, Petipa and Tudor and had new works choreographed for him by choreographers including: Anastos, Bahr, Barnett, Kudelka, McFall, Munroe, Pazik and Taylor Corbitt among others.  As Ballet Master for Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, Rockland was asked to give master classes in cities all over the world.

In addition to eighteen years in academia (as Associate Professor at both the University of Northern Colorado and Kent State University), Rockland was the Co-Founding Artistic Director of Colorado Dance Theatre, the Greeley Conservatory of Dance in Colorado and East Meets West at Kent State University (a program that built international dance opportunities for students in Thailand and Israel).
