APO (Alpha Psi Omega)
Alpha Psi Omega (APO) is a national theatre honors society. The Alpha Gamma Theta cast is comprised of students who have achieved recognition for their work in the James Madison University School of Theatre and Dance. We are here to support, educate, and motivate our fellow peers. Invitation to APO is based upon practical experience in the JMU spaces and academic achievement. Inductions occur at the end of each semester. APO meetings typically occur in an evening time slot after most rehearsals. APO creates performing opportunities through partnerships with other JMU organizations, like Stratford Players, and sponsors social events to foster stronger connections within the department.
