The intent of the residency is to provide an entry-level professional with the type of supervised experience necessary for licensure as a professional counselor or psychologist. The residency experience may include the provision of the short-term individual, group, and crisis counseling, consultation services, and outreach programming, initial assessments, and closing clinician emergency coverage.
