Description

Duties:

I need a reliable caregiver for my 5th grader to get him off of the bus, and care for him for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Most of the time will be at home, but he does need transportation once a week to a therapy appointment. This can be discussed however and worked out. He will need companionship and help with learning independence such as preparing his own snacks, and drinks in the afternoon. He is very verbal but doesn't always have the words to say what he needs. He loves jazz music, dinosaurs, and is very much into Roblox at the moment. Perfect job for anyone interested in OT, SLP, Sped, nursing, teaching, psychology, and social work.

Requirements:

• Over 18.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to ask questions, and be curious about ASD ability to accept differences, and social nonconformities.
• Must like dogs, and cats, and be comfortable around caged exotics.
• Must be reliable and able to give notice if not able to be present at the specified time agreed upon.

Salary
$12.80 paid through an agency CDCN.

Hours per week
15-20 (can be discussed)

Specific hours
Mon 2:45-6 pm or 7, Tues 2:45-6 pm or 7, Wed 2:45-6 pm or 7, Thurs 2:45-5 pm or 6, Fri 2:45-6 pm. Weekend hours can be discussed if desired!
