All program costs/expenses are covered by the graduate assistantship through the McMillin Center.  An additional stipend of roughly $16,000 per year is paid to a GA.

  • Development and delivery of outreach programming to JMU Student-athletes as well as local D-III and HS teams

  • Participation as a member of an interdisciplinary team of athletic-based staff which aims to address student-athlete mental health needs on campus – Care and Recovery Enhancement Team (CARE Team)

Robert Harmison – a licensed psychologist in VA, an AASP CMPC and certified supervisor, and AASP President-elect – serves as the primary supervisor for GA’s through the McMillin Center.
