Tahlia is a graduate assistant working for the Challace McMillin Center for Sport Psychology. She is currently a graduate student at James Madison University's Combined-Integrated Doctoral Program in Clinical and School Psychology. Tahlia received her Master of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University in 2020. While at CBU, she served as a graduate-level mental performance consultant to student-athletes at CBU as well as high schools athletes in the Riverside area. Tahlia also served as an academic success coach for student athletes at Southern Wesleyan University, where she also engaged in mental skills training with teams on campus. Overall, her work includes delivering workshops and individual sessions teaching mental skills training. Her research interests include mental toughness, athletic identity, athletes' holistic well-being, and athlete transition out of sport.
