Dorian Hayden

 


Dorian is a graduate assistant working for the Challace McMillin Center for Sport Psychology.  He is currently a first-year graduate student in James Madison University’s Combined-Integrated Doctoral Program in Clinical and School Psychology.  Dorian is in the process of completing his Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University. Dorian served previously as a volunteer assistant coach for MSU's Track and Field team (2018 - 2021) and an assistant coach for SUNY Brockport's Track and Field team (2016 - 2018). In these roles, he assisted athletes with various mental skills, including anxiety control, goal setting, focus, stress management, and confidence. Dorian's research interests include the following: peak performance, mental toughness, and student-athlete well-being.
