I am currently pursuing my Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Counseling Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at JMU. I will graduate in May 2028. I hope to positively influence the emotional wellness and personal growth of my clients and the greater counseling community.

For the past three years I worked at the University of Virginia’s Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy (ILPPP), conducting forensic psychology research on national and state-level competency evaluation services as well as public safety pre-employment psychological evaluations. I participated in forensic evaluations while gaining exposure to mental health law and criminal justice policy.

In my spare time, I enjoy sewing, painting, reading, nail polish, spending time outside, a good pour-over cup of coffee (Ethiopian Sidamo), dogs, live music, and cooking for my beloved friends and family.
