Andrea began working at JMU in 2018 and has held fiscal positions in several departments across campus, including Nursing, the College of Education, the School of Communication Studies, Accounts Payable, and most recently, the Center for Global Engagement, where she served as Financial Manager. In September 2026, Andrea joined the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) as Financial and Operations Manager. She is excited to be part of the SPCE family and enjoys contributing to its mission. Andrea is also a proud JMU alumna, having earned her B.A. in History, and loves being able to give back to the university she calls home.

After graduating from JMU, Andrea spent nearly a decade in what she affectionately calls her “dream job” working in daycare. She has always loved children and the joy of seeing the world through their eyes. After becoming a mom, Andreatransitioned out of full-time daycare work and into a part-time position at EMU, allowing her to spend more time with her own children.

Outside of work, Andrea’s greatest joy is spending time with her family. She especially loves watching her children discover their interests, build confidence, and pursue the things that make them happy, whether that means performing in a musical theatre production, competing in sports, or horseback riding. As a family, they love making memories together through biking, swimming, weekend getaways, and exploring new places. For Andrea, there is nothing better than cheering her children on, sharing new experiences, and enjoying the little moments along the way.
