Marketing & Engagement Assistant

Hi! I am Ava Wnorowski and I am a junior Media Arts and Design major with minors in communications and educational media. I was brought to JMU X-Labs because the idea of working with a cross-disciplinary team seemed intriguing to gain new ideas from other majors and backgrounds. I think it is an incredible learning concept to be able to bring different brains together and problem solve one goal!

I'm most curious to use my own passion and work alongside my team and their perspectives to collaborate and be efficient while also having an opportunity to open doors for new students to engage with X-Labs.

I am extremely passionate about creative projects and working in the media field! I enjoy editing video projects and taking pictures and videos, whether it's professionally or of my friends. I really like capturing candid moments for people to look back on.

A fun fact about me is that I love to surf, and I grew up on the Jersey Shore surfing my whole life!
