Marketing & Engagement Assistant

My name is Naya Hair and I am a junior. I am a Media Arts and Design major with a concentration in Creative Advertising, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I came to JMU-X Labs because of my passion for innovation and creativity and fostering spaces for students to be as creative as possible.

I most curious to explore the student engagement, and explore all of the endless capabilities of JMU-X labs and how I can merge that with my own interest and skills! I am excited to gain more hands on experiences with marketing and more exposure to innovation and being able to create something or a space that can help those around me.

I am very passionate about creating community, and being able to be creative and use my skills and my abilities to create something special. I like creating TikToks, and I love being able to create videos to share with others. I love volunteering as well, and I enjoy being involved in my community!

I work as an intern with the African, African American and Diaspora studies center at JMU, and I also used to dance!
