Education Minors
IDLS majors admitted before Fall 2019 must select a minor in one of the following teaching licensure areas: Elementary Education, Inclusive Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Middle Education. Course work in each minor
- initiates students in the teaching licensure process during the undergraduate program but requires a graduate program to complete the licensure process.
- is carefully sequenced so students complete the education courses with IDLS major, general education, and BS degree requirements; students should follow the semester course sequence found on these corresponding web pages and routinely check-in with their College of Education advisor in addition to their IDLS advisor.
