5-year licensure program for PK-6 grade educators

This program is no longer an option to incoming Freshmen.

Drawn from research and theories in child development, teaching, and learning, the course work and field experiences prepare teacher candidates to employ a cross disciplinary approach to instruction that reflects an understanding of the diverse nature of learners and their families.

Program length

This is a graduate 5-year Master of Arts in Teaching program.

What should be my undergraduate major?

As undergraduates, students must major in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies (IDLS) and minor in Elementary Education (ELED). The IDLS major/ELED minor program will no longer be available to freshman entering in the fall 2019.
