Kelly Ball, Associate Vice President for Access and Enrollment and Director of Admissions

Bio: Following a national search, Kelly Ball joined James Madison University on August 11 as Associate Vice President for Access and Enrollment and Director of Admissions. She brings more than a decade of leadership experience in higher education, with a strong focus on student recruitment, strategic enrollment management, and institutional visibility.

Prior to her appointment at JMU, Kelly served as Director of Recruitment and Strategic Initiatives at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she led efforts to build a robust admissions funnel and elevate the university’s national profile. Her career also includes key leadership roles at the University of Delaware and Penn State University. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Penn State University.
