Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator

With a background in geology, polar sciences, and science communication, I currently co-lead and manage Arctic-related projects at NCEAS.  As a co-Principal Investigator for the Arctic Data Center, I lead science communication and outreach initiatives to help the Arctic research community preserve their data and share their work with broad audiences.  I also manage the Arctic Impact project, which aims to bring together Arctic managers and researchers to bridge the gap between science and real-world decision-making.  Most of my days are spent writing, interviewing scientists, organizing and facilitating meetings, and doing graphic design and website design for our various projects.
