Students applying to James Madison University and seeking scholarship consideration should file the FAFSA by January 1, 2026 to maximize their eligibility.
To meet JMU’s priority filing deadline, be sure to submit your FAFSA by March 1, 2026.

The General Scholarship Application opens October 1st through Madison Scholarships Hub in MyMadison. The application is primarily for scholarships for the upcoming academic year, but can also be used for upcoming Study Abroad in the current year or scholarships for next Summer.
