Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honors Society. Members of JMU’s Psi Sigma chapter of Sigma Tau Delta form a social and academic network of JMU literature lovers which, depending on the goals of the members each year, sponsors a variety of literature-related events on campus and/or in our local community and publishes journals of undergraduate literary research or creative works. Individual members may also take advantage of opportunities to participate in national Sigma Tau Delta conferences and internships and may apply for Sigma Tau Delta scholarships.   

Do you currently have a overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.0 in English? If you meet these qualifications, have already completed at least two English courses at JMU, and have an English Faculty member who will support your candidacy, then you may apply for membership.
