JMU Poetry Society
JMU Poetry Society is an organization dedicated to creating community through the poetry that we read and write. Founded in Spring 2025, JMU poetry society aims to be a space for creative expression, growth, curiosity and discussion. At meetings, we practice discussing previously published works, analyzing their meanings within different contexts and frameworks, as well as practice sharing our own work in a welcoming and curious environment where we offer feedback and ask questions about the individual behind the poem.
Meetings are currently held weekly in Keezell 310.
