American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)
AASCU is a Washington-based  higher education association of nearly 420 public colleges, universities and systems whose members share a learning and teaching-centered culture, a historic commitment to underserved student populations and a dedication to research and creativity that advances their regions' economic  progress and cultural development. American Democracy Project (ADP)
The American Democracy Project (ADP) is an initiative of AASCU campuses that seeks to create an intellectual and experiential understanding of civic engagement for undergraduates enrolled at institutions that are members of AASCU.

AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.     

Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U)
AAC&U is the leading national association concerned with the quality, vitality, and public standing of undergraduate liberal education. Its members are committed to extending the advantages of a liberal education to all students, regardless of academic specialization or intended career. Founded in 1915, AAC&U now comprises nearly 1,400 member institutions—including accredited public and private colleges, community colleges, research universities, and comprehensive universities of every type and size.

Association of Public Land-Grant Universities (APLU)
The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) is a research, policy, and advocacy organization dedicated to strengthening and advancing the work of public universities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement             
The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement prepares students for lives of purpose and connects student, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders in social change efforts that value the knowledge and potential in our communities. 

Campus Compact
Campus Compact is a national coalition of 1,000+ colleges and universities committed to the public purposes of higher education. We build democracy through civic education and community development. 

Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Network (CLDE)
Since the release of A Crucible Moment, AAC&U has convened a group of 13 national organizations called the Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) Action Network to coordinate with one another and use the breadth of their national outreach to serve the larger communities of practice and advance A Crucible Moment's ambitious agenda.

The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)      
A federal agency that helps millions of Americans improve the lives of their fellow citizens through service.

The Democracy Commitment (TDC)    
The Democracy Commitment is a non-partisan national organization dedicated to advancing civic engagement and democracy in America’s Community Colleges.                  

Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC)
The Engagement Scholarship Consortium's goal is to work collaboratively to build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship, and designed to help build community capacity.

International Association for Research on Service-Learning & Community Engagement (IARSLCE)
IARSLCE is an international non-profit organization devoted to promoting research and discussion about service-learning and community engagement.

National Academy of Inventors (NAI)     
The NAI was founded in 2010 to recognize and encourage inventors with patents issued from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, enhancethe visibility of academic technology and innovation, encourage the disclosure of intellectual property, educate and mentor innovative students, and translate the inventions of its members to benefit society.              

National Collaborative for the Study of University Engagement (NCSUE) 
NCSUE strives to be a preeminent innovator within the scholarly movement of engagement in higher education. NCSUE deepens the study of and discussion about two key principles—engaged scholarship and the scholarship of engagement—to inform and advance the national agenda.

National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC)
The NCoC is dedicated to strengthening civic life in America.      

National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)              
NEH is an independent federal agency, one of the largest funders of humanities programs in the United States.

National Study of Student Engagement (NSSE)   
NSSE annually collects information at hundreds of four-year colleges and universities about first-year and senior students' participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development.

Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA)            
NASPAA's twofold mission is to ensure excellence in education and training for public service and to promote the ideal of public service.                

New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE)    
NERCHE is committed to collaborative change processes in higher education to address social justice in a diverse democracy.

Service Year Alliance
Service Year Alliance is an organization relentlessly pursuing a bold vision — making a year of service a common expectation and opportunity for all young Americans as a way to tackle important challenges while transforming their own lives.

Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA)        
NASPA is the leading association for the advancement, health, and sustainability of the student affairs profession.

Swearer Center for Public Service at Brown University

The Washington Center
The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars is an independent, nonprofit organization providing selected students challenging opportunities to work and learn in Washington, D.C. for academic credit.

VA Engage          
VA Engage is a collection of universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia that are dedicated to their surrounding communities through many different community partnerships. VA Engage connects these universities’ community engagement offices in order to spread new and beneficial ideas and resources to raise campus-community ties throughout the Commonwealth.

Virginia Office on Volunteerism and Community Services (OVCS)
The Virginia Office on Volunteerism and Community Services (OVCS), within the Virginia Department of Social Services, is the lead agency for volunteerism and service for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
