Application Checklist
James Madison University encourages applicants with degrees in all major fields of study from accredited institutions to apply.
Applying to our program is simple. We ask that you have the following available to you when you apply.
- ✓Current resume
- ✓Unofficial undergraduate transcript
- ✓The email address of the person(s) you would like to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf
- ✓One page statement explaining why you have decided to pursue your MBA
- ✓A minimum of two years of applicable professional experience, five years for our Executive Leadership Program
- ✓GMAT score or intended test date*
- GMAT waivers are available for candidates with two or more years of professional experience. To find out if you qualify for a waiver please email a copy of your current resume to mba@jmu.edu.
