Office of Experiential Learning has mentoring programs if you would like to work one on one with students. You can read more on the Experiential Learning website.

Guest Speaking

Three student organizations are closely affiliated with the Department and many welcome guest speakers to share advice and wisdom about the industry.  Review the list of student organizations.

Finance Career Panels. Each semester department organizes career panels. It is usually a panel of 4-5 JMU alumni or friends who are invited to talk about their career paths, career choices, and their company. It is opportunity for students to hear about various finance career choices, and connect with alumni and of course, for alumni to re-connect with each other.

Provide a financial contribution to the department, the college, or the university.

Your gift can be to the general fund of the University or the College. You can also specify specific funds, based on the account number.  The specific accounts for Finance & Business Law are:
