Minors: Math

Why did you become an ambassador? Because I took a department tour as a high school senior, which helped me decide to go to JMU.

Why did you choose Engineering? Because I have always been interested in how things work. I also always wanted to be a Disney Imagineer… and being an engineering major is my path to getting there.

What do you enjoy most about Engineering? I love the people and working in teams!

What is your favorite class or project? ENGR 112 because it was my first class learning what it is like to be an engineer.

Have you had an internship, study abroad, or research experience you'd like to share? I interned as a mechanical engineer at Dewberry.

What clubs, student organizations, or activities are you involved in? I help instruct/lead swing dancing. I also play intramural softball.

What is something you love to do outside of class? I love going to the gym and playing board games with my friends.

What is your favorite spot on campus?: The engineering computer lab.

What advice would you give to a prospective student? Don’t be afraid to make a mistake! It's one of the best ways to learn in class!
