Minor: Math

Why did you choose Engineering? Since I was young, I've enjoyed figuring out what makes things tick, and I feel like engineering gives me the chance to design, build, or research just about anything.

What do you enjoy most about your program? The hands-on experiences I've had.

What is your favorite class or project? The robotic arm for ENGR 231.

Who has been an influential professor, mentor, or advisor? Ms. Shae Powell has been very helpful for me throughout my time in JMU Engineering. 

What clubs, student organizations, or activities are you involved in? JMU student government

What is something you love to do outside of class? Play pickleball with friends

What is your favorite spot on campus? The Makery in Rose Library

If you had to describe your JMU experience in three words, what would they be? Perseverance, exciting, and rewarding

What advice would you give to a prospective student? I know it can be hard to get out of your comfort zone but branch out (whether it be within your major or through clubs/orgs).

Anything else you'd like to share? I've enjoyed my time at JMU and wouldn't have it any other way.
