Enrollment verifications for the following purposes are completed at Registration Services in the Registrar's Office, by the Client Services Team. The following are not processed by the Veterans Benefit team:
Renewal of military ID
Degree or graduation date verification
Driver’s license replacement
If you need a letter for enrollment verification, please visit this link. JMU offers access to printing enrollment verifications from home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This information can be found on the JMU Registrar's website under "Enrollment/Degree Verification" for 3rd floor tasks.
If you have a separate form (insurance, scholarship, etc.) to be completed by the Office of the Registrar, we suggest that you obtain the enrollment verification through National Student Clearinghouse as directed above and attach the verification to your form. Please contact the Registration Services Team at 540-568-6166 or stopping by Warren Hall, 3rd floor with any questions or concerns.
Note: Enrollment certification referenced in VA’s letter result in payments by Department of Treasury for VA educational benefits. If you need this enrollment certification, please contact the Veterans Benefit team (540-568-6569). A “Letter of Student Status” form is not required when requesting payment of VA benefits.
