The purpose of the Office of the Registrar is to accurately maintain student records and serve the students, faculty, and staff of JMU in a manner consistent with university policies and procedures.

Hours and Location

The Office of the Registrar is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and houses Student Record Services and Registration Services:

Fall 2008 semester begins

Drop/Add deadline for fall 2008 semester and first block courses. 'W' will apply at midnight.

September 11, 2008
Last day to add fall 2008 semester and first block courses with Instructor and Unit Head signatures.

September 12, 2008
Last day to withdraw from the University with cancellation of Tuition charges.
(Student must withdraw from ALL courses to be eligible.)
