This is my second year with the journal, and I'm really looking forward to being able to work together with such amazingly unique people and view such creative work. When I'm not in class, I'm just about everywhere else as I am also part of the University Program Board (UPB), The Breeze, and the university's yearbook The Bluestone.

My name is Nia Rucker, I am a WRTC major with a minor in Creative Writing. When I am not writing and studying, I like to spend my free time reading, painting, taking walks, and spending time with my friends. Though when I am home, I spend extra time with my dog Ayvah. I have had a blast so far working on this fantastic student-led journal! I cannot wait to continue my journey with Rhet Tech!

This is my first year editing for RhetTech and I am ecstatic to be here! In my free time, I love to read and watch Gilmore Girls, or I’m writing articles for both JMU’s Bluestone Yearbook and HerCampus. I am excited to edit the submissions for RhetTech Journal!

Outside of RhetTech, I’m involved with JMU’s speech team, and I’m an RA for Eagle Hall. For a pastime, I love reading, especially nonfiction books like memoirs.
