About Hillside Field

Hillside Field is the largest outdoor space supported by The Union.  Hillside hosts Relay for Life each year in addition to a number of other events.

Space Details
  • The Union Event Services can provide 9 Tables and 20 chairs for events on Hillside Field.
  • Additional equipment used must be PRE-approved by The Union Event Services and rented by sponsor.
  • Stage rentals require additional approval by Facilities Management. This process requires six weeks.
  • Tents larger than 10’ X 10’ require additional approval by Facilities Management. This process requires four weeks.
  • Stages and Tents over 10’ X 10’ may require permits and/or inspection which will be billed to the customer.
  • There is one water access point and two area to access power.
  • Hillside Field can be accessed from C4 parking lot with prior approval.

  • 2 NEMA L14-30R receptacles — 30 amps, 125/250 volts

  • 2 NEMA 5-15R GFCI duplex outlets (4 total receptacles) — 15 amps, 125 volts

South Power Station (Near Bus Stop)
  • 2 NEMA 5-20R duplex outlets (4 total receptacles) — 20 amps, 125 volts

  • 2 NEMA 5-15R GFCI duplex outlets (4 total receptacles) — 15 amps, 125 volts
