Meet Katie, the Project Manager at SACM.

Katie has been in her role since 2024 and oversees the lifecycle of all SACM projects. Katie tracks analytics generated by the Marketing Strategist, performs data analysis and oversees the Dukes Weekly deliveries. She also helps with general problem solving, team dynamics, client relations and harmonious day-to-day operations. Katie loves that she is constantly getting to know and connect with students and that her job is always interesting because of the constantly changing projects SACM undertakes. Katie helps curate SACM’s intentional character and “culture of care” and brings kindness, genuineness and presence to all her interactions. Katie has known Gnorman longer than anyone else, and the office wouldn’t be the same without her spirited “Questions of the Week”. 

Katie is a JMU alum of the class of 2016. Go Dukes! She graduated with a degree in Communication and has gained professional expertise in project management, marketing and human resources. Outside of work, Katie values quality time and meaningful connection. She enjoys hiking, yoga, pickleball, mindfulness and running with her various communities. Katie describes herself as “happiest when barefoot in the grass” and her reading interests include light beach reads and books on human experience and psychology.
