Areia is in her sophomore year at JMU as a Marketing major with the College of Business. She started working with SACM as student Project Manager in Spring of 2026. As student Project Manager, Areia helps organize upcoming projects, project assignments and track completion timelines. Outside of JMU, she is currently a student member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and serves on their professional development committee. She was born and raised in Harrisonburg and loves the “friendly city” community she belongs to. Beyond project management, Areia spends her time taking photos, watching foreign dramas, baking and spending time with friends. She has adjacent interests in graphic design and hopes to do more with design down the road.
