Madeleine transferred to JMU from Germana Community College where she got her associate’s degree in Graphic Communications. She feels happy to have reconnected with her lifelong love of artistic expression at JMU. Madeleine is currently majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Illustration. She loves the change of scenery in Harrisonburg and the various cultural opportunities available. Madeleine values accessibility in design and hopes to use her work to impact and nurture positive changes within her community. She has a strong orientation toward social justice and feels strongly that individuals can make a difference by intervening at a societal level. She is a dedicated member of the JMU chapter of Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGA).
