Nora followed her interest in the arts to a position designing print work for her high school newspaper. She knew JMU had a good Graphic Design program and is already looking forward to her senior capstone project as a junior. Nora is a Graphic Design major with the School of Art, Design and Art History. She is also a member of JMU’s Honors College currently working on both Honors and Entrepreneurship minors. Last year Nora was a Gallery Director with SACM and this year she is a member of the design team. Nora is an active member of the Madison Honors Leaders Council (MHLC), a returning member of the Marching Royal Dukes Colorguard and is a Head of Public Relations for the service organization For the Love of Colorguard (FLOC). Her design aesthetic is influenced by clean styles, earth-tones and the outdoors. Drawn to nature, Nora has visited JMU's Arboretum many times and enjoyed her alternative fall break in Shenandoah National Park. While Nora hopes to find creative opportunities in print work or freelance design after college, she also seems open to exploring web-design.
