Why I want to serve on the Task Force:
Serving now as Vice-Rector of JMU’s Board of Visitors, I take seriously the Board’s challenge for urgency as we seek progress toward racial equity and public safety for Black people and other people of color.
I am committed to work to create a model for racial equity, beginning with JMU and one that other institutions and organizations will seek to emulate.
