Prior to JMU, Brendan is a native of Boiling Springs, PA and has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, where he completed Navy ROTC. He served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer in the Navy for nine years, during which he lived in Florida, Guam, Virginia Beach and Washington, DC, before coming to Harrisonburg to be with his spouse and dog. He enjoys swimming and water polo, cooking and baking, walking, and photography.
