Brendan Barnes has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, where he completed Navy ROTC. He served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer in the Navy for nine years, during which he lived in Florida, Guam, Virginia Beach and Washington, D.C. before coming to Harrisonburg to be with his spouse and dog.
