Leaders and managers are frequently responsible for reducing, negotiating, and resolving conflict, miscommunication, and misunderstandings among co-workers, stakeholders, customers, constituents, and others. 

The JMU Professional Conflict Mediation Skills Certificate provides professionals an opportunity to learn the best practices used by mediation experts to confidently and effectively facilitate conversations that allow others to resolve conflict.  Participants experience the exact training given to professional mediators, and get additional personalized leadership development provided by an expert coach and scientifically-valid self-assessment.
