Operation Support Specialist

I started my JMU career in 1979 as a Fiscal Technician Sr. and began working at PCE on March 31, 2014. While at JMU, I furthered my administrative goals by taking business/administrative classes at JMU and learning new software. I continue to take classes and training that pertains to my position and that will help me contribute to our department in order to be the best we can be! 

In my current role, I assist the PCE staff, while working with Nicki West. I schedule appointments and meetings; invoice customers; assist with the Adult Degree Program; and work with the Continuing Education Program, among many other duties as assigned. I enjoy learning and working with people. As an Administrative Assistant, I work with everyone in the department, and answer the phone, so I get to continue to be in a customer-focused position. Continuing education opens opportunities for everyone to learn what their passions are, to learn something new, or to continue their education and get a degree or certificate.
