Sara Halteman supports university planning and accreditation efforts at James Madison University, where she oversees the faculty qualifications process and Senior Compass. She has worked in higher education since 2009, with experience spanning institutional research, effectiveness, planning, and assessment. Prior to joining JMU in October 2026, Sara led the Institutional Research & Effectiveness team at a small private university. She earned a Master of Education in Higher Education, with a concentration in Institutional Research, from Pennsylvania State University.
