The Madison Money Mentors program is a student-led initiative designed to empower undergraduates with essential financial literacy skills through relatable, peer-to-peer education. By focusing on key areas of financial knowledge, the program aims to foster long-term financial wellness, reduce student debt burdens, and prepare students for life beyond college.
Program Objectives
- Equip students with core personal finance skills relevant to college and what comes next.
- Build a supportive peer network that fosters financial confidence and accountability.
- Normalize conversations about money and promote proactive financial behavior.
- Reduce student financial stress and encourage responsible borrowing and spending.
