Neighborhood Stops Schedule
January 26th - May 29th
Our Neighborhood Bus Stops provide an hour of academic enrichment to students right in their neighborhood. All students of all ages are welcome to join, but content is targeted for K-5th grade students. Children younger than 5 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or adult.

Afterschool Programs
Afterschool programs run from 3:30-6:00 at the following sites. Each program operates different days of the week and teaches different curriculums.
Stone Spring Elementary
Mondays & Tuesdays (4th & 5th grade): Radical Solvers and Gus Bus Elevators
Wednesdays & Thursdays (K-3rd grade): Planet Wellness or the Walking Classroom, and Gus Bus Elevators
Keister Elementary
Mondays & Tuesdays (2nd-5th grade): LIT (literacy, inquiry, and technique) Lab and Gus Bus Elevators
Bluestone Elementary
Wednesdays & Thursdays (1st-5th grade): LIT Lab and Gus Bus Elevators
Waterman Elementary (from 3:30-4:45 only)
Mondays & Wednesdays (3rd-5th grade): Science Alliance and LIT Lab
Smithland Elementary (from 3:30-4:45 only)
Tuesdays: Radical Solvers
Family Engagement Events
This spring, the Gus Bus will host monthly workshops for adult caregivers in partnership with local organizations, JMU faculty, and others. Save the dates! Families will receive flyers and more information closer to each event.

This spring, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank will be visiting numerous neighborhoods to provide families with free fresh produce! Please note that the Neighborhood Produce Markets may not always be aligned with Gus Bus stops.
