About Us
The Promotores de Salud Program in Waynesboro provides promotion, outreach, and education to Latinos working and living in and around Waynesboro and the South and South Fork Shenandoah Rivers about the fish consumption advisories and the possible effects of mercury exposure. The program uses a Community Health Worker/Promotores de Salud model to educate Spanish speakers and other community members to collaborate with nonprofit partners to distribute education information widely among impacted communities
