Luke Ellis is a May 2025 graduate of James Madison University, with a B.S. in Geography and a minor in Environmental Science. He joined the Center for Global Engagement in August of 2025, as a Presidential Engagement Fellow. The Presidential Engagement Fellowship Program is a program where recent JMU graduates have the opportunity to experience a transformational year of leadership development in a higher education setting. Luke will be working with the study abroad and international recruitment team on projects and events throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

He is passionate about running and all things geography. In his free time you can catch him biking, going for a hike in Shenandoah National Park, or exploring what the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.
