Steve joined the Strategic Gifts team as a Development Officer in 2018.  Previously, he worked in the newspaper industry as the Director of Advertising for the Daily News-Record and Rockingham Publishing Company.  A Harrisonburg native, Steve has been involved with community civic groups such as the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, the Elks Lodge, and Harrisonburg Little League.  

In his spare time, Steve enjoys traveling, home gardening projects, farmers markets and following JMU athletics.  Whenever possible, he pursues his lifelong love affair with the game of golf.
