Liz is a Development Officer in the Office of Strategic Gifts.  She came to James Madison University in the fall of 2021 after relocating from Meadville, PA.  Having attended Shenandoah University for her undergraduate studies, she knew that she would happily once again put down roots in the Shenandoah Valley. She received her Master’s in Business Administration from Piedmont University, where she was also the graduate assistant women’s lacrosse coach.  She went on to be the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Allegheny College for four years before deciding to relocate and get into Advancement work at JMU, first as the Strategic Gifts Coordinator and now as a Development Officer.

Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Liz has now made her home in the Valley alongside her wife, dog, and two cats.  Outside of work, Liz enjoys hiking and exploring new areas, listening to live music, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
