Job Responsibilities: 

I advocate for excellence within Academic Affairs by overseeing development and application of academic affairs policy.  My primary responsibilities include:

• Coordinate policy management for policies and procedures which inform and impact academic affairs at university, divisional, and departmental levels.
• Chair the Academic Affairs Policy Committee (AAPC) which is responsible for reviewing, updating, and creating new policy.
• Support departments by providing guidance and feedback on unit-level policy documents (e.g., annual evaluation, promotion and tenure, etc.).
• Represent academic affairs as a member of the University Policy Committee (UPC).
• Serve as an ex officio liaison to the Faculty Handbook Committee (FHC).
