Samantha Haling is available for one-on-one consultations as you plan, pilot, or troubleshoot a digital assignment or as you work on your own digital project. If you're interested in designing a digital assignment for your courses, we also recommend these JMU resources:

Classroom Presentations

UWC Digital Specialists can visit your classroom to support your digital assignments. We offer workshop presentations on online portfolios, digital storytelling, personal branding, and web building.

Depending on the availability of our consultants, we are happy to come in for targeted support or scaffold in 2-3 presentations across the semester to support your students' success.

UWC Media Fellows

Our Media Fellowship program is currently available on a very limited basis. Our trained undergraduate consultants can offer a range of services to assist your students in creating more sophisticated and professional online content:

  • in class presentations and workshops on web builders, wordpress, digital storytelling, and effective digital communication
  • out of class tutoring for your students to assist in producing more sophisticated content
  • online website specifically tailored for your class with relevant resources, tools and websites that will enhance the digital production

The fellowship is a baseline of 20 hours across the semester. The faculty member, Graduate Assistant, and Media Fellow will collaborate to define timelines, support services, and scaffolding.
