Emily Nicholson attended Carthage College, and earned her B.A. and M.A. in Communication from James Madison University.

Emily’s research interests often focus on the intersection between identity and organization in communication, drawing from her background in interpersonal and organizational communication.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys music and film, and is the proud owner of a foster cat named Charles.
