Ebenezer Aidoo, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University, where he currently teaches courses on health and technology communication and Fundamental Human Communication. His research interests include global health communication, environmental communication, and technology communication, with a focus on the adoption and use of technology in healthcare. Much of his work has examined health behavior change, patient-centered communication, mobile health, mental and maternal health communication, particularly in the Global South and United States contexts.

Ebenezer presents his research work at top conferences, including the International communication conferences, the National Communication Association conference, the Kentucky Conference on Health Communication, the DC Health Communication Conference, and several other regional conferences. Ebenezer's scholarship has received recognition at national conferences, including Top Papers at the National Communication Association and first place in Academic Research and the Scholarly Debut Paper Competition at the International Division of the Broadcast Education Association. In addition to research and teaching, Ebenezer is committed to mentoring students and fostering inclusive classroom environments that value diverse perspectives and experiences.

He received his Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, his M.A. in Communication Studies from New Mexico State University, his M.Sc. in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, his B.B.A. in Marketing from Methodist University in Ghana, and his Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Cape Coast Technical University in Ghana.
