TTAC Lending Library

Focus: Assistive Technology & Resource Access

TTAC’s Lending Library houses materials and tools that support inclusive instruction and assistive technology implementation.

Available Resources:

  • Assistive technology devices (low-tech to high-tech)
  • Virginia Assistive Technology, Tools, and Strategies (VATTS) Aligned Resources
  • Example instructional materials
  • Books and professional resources
  • Curriculum materials
  • Tools available for checkout and hands-on review

The Lending Library provides educators the opportunity to explore and learn how to use resources before implementing them in their own classrooms.

Memorial Hall's Hiner Room

Focus: Flexible Learning & Instructional Design Space

Located in the College of Education, the Hiner Room is designed to model flexible and inclusive classroom environments.

Features Include:

  • Flexible seating options
  • Adjustable desk configurations
  • Open floor space for movement and collaboration
  • Adaptable instructional layouts

The Hiner Room allows pre-service and in-service educators to explore how classroom design influences accessibility, engagement, and student autonomy.
