Professional Experience and Interests:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral
  • Taught students grades K-12 with low incidence disabilities, including intellectual disability (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and students with multiple and severe disabilities
  • Provided behavior consultation in both general education and special education programs for students with and without disabilities
  • Worked as a special education administrator
  • Interests include: reading instruction for students with ID/ASD, classroom management and individual behavior management, teacher coaching


Current Research:

  • Using curriculum based measurement to measure the basic reading skills of students with ID and ASD
  • Using computer-assisted instruction to teach reading skills to students with ID and ASD
  • Classroom management strategies


Program Involvement:

  • Adapted Curriculum (K-12) and other EXED programs
  • Behavior Specialist Concentration
