Education
In Spring of 2026, I earned my master's degree in data science from Michigan Tech. Alongside that, I also got a graduate certificate in Applied Statistics.
Experience
Before joining JMU's Computer Science Department, I worked in several academic and administrative roles that strengthened my skills in coordination, organization, and data management. Most recently, I served as a Graduate Office Assistant in Graduate Admissions at Michigan Technological University, where I managed applicant records, maintained databases, supported reporting processes, and assisted with admissions operations. I also worked as a Professor's Assistant for a cybersecurity course at the American University of Afghanistan, supporting faculty and students through course coordination, communication, and administrative tasks.
I also completed a Strategic Improvement Internship at Cooper Farms, where I supported cross-functional projects through documentation, reporting, and process improvement. These experiences reinforced my interest in helping organizations operate efficiently while supporting the people they serve.
